The Friends of St Catherine Incorporated (FOSC) will be hosting a concert in aid of charity with local and International artistes at Mass Camp, New Kingston, on Heroes Day, Monday, October 17.
Headline artistes include local Reggae singer, Tanya Stephens and Soca Queen Alison Hinds from Barbados. The show will be staged in three segments, featuring the popular genres soca, dancehall and reggae. Meanwhile, the proceeds of this event will go towards the rehabilitation of the general infrastructure of schools and the physical support of the orphanage and other youth organisations within the community. The FOSC is a charity organisation that was established to assist the community to build and improve the artistic, cultural, educational, recreational and social well-being of residents in the parish of St Catherine. Each year the organisation hosts various fund raising events in a bid to raise funds to support the various charities they assist.
