Kurfew Productions hosts shows in Plug 'N' Play series

On Friday, October 7, 2011, Kurfew Productions will be hosting what promises to be one of the best shows in the weekly Plug 'N' Play series.

In an effort to keep live music alive in Jamaica's capital city, Dubtonic Kru, along with other local bands and production teams has been pooling its time, resources, and talents in order to achieve this. The series of shows held weekly on a Friday night has become quite a popular event for many persons of all ages to the satisfaction of the promoters.

In addition to spreading love and positive vibrations through music, Kurfew is on a mission to send a message of hope in an effort to save a life and to garner much needed financial support for their band leader Andrae 'Carlos' Marsh, who was diagnosed just over a year ago with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. "He urgently needs to complete the final stage of his treatment in order to be fully cured of the disease and as such the proceeds from the show will go towards his radiation treatment," stated Melissa Reittie, PR and operations coordinator of Kurfew Productions, in a release sent to The STAR.

An excited Marsh further encourages: "We are really excited about this show. we have some of the best talents in the Jamaican music circuit right now on the line-up. Everyone should come join us and have a great time. Music is what we do best, it's positive, it's powerful and we aim to please our audience at all times. so come out and experience a musical lockdown with Kurfew."

The public is invited to come out and enjoy a night of excellent performances by Protoje, Romain Virgo, Sherieta, Lawgiver, I-Noah, Hitman Walle as well as a special guest performer, backed by the Kurfew Band.
