The 30-year-old doctor who has been accused of impregnating a 14-year-old girl two years ago was offered $800,000 bail in the St Ann's Bay Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

He is Everton Watson, who has been slapped with six counts of carnal abuse.He is to return to court on November 8. Watson has denied the allegations.

On Tuesday, he was charged following a probe by the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA).

Earlier this year, a report was made to CISOCA after the girl returned to St Ann from Clarendon, and told a relative that she had a baby for the doctor.

On Sunday, the doctor was picked up at the St Ann's Bay Hospital where he was arrested and later charged.
