Escaped prisoner back in custody - News - Jamaica Star

The prisoner who managed to walk out of the holding area of the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday is now back in police custody.

He is Oneil Salmon, who slipped from custody minutes after he was refused bail.

Salmon is awaiting trial on a charge of carnal abuse.

He was handed over to the Hunts Bay police on Wednesday evening by his attorney Philmore Scott.

It was reported that the police were moving prisoners to the Hunts Bay police lock-up when Salmon slipped out of the building undetected.
