A month ago Evelyn Carter was another unknown member of the public, but after an unplanned appearance in a hidden camera gag on 'Ity & Fancy Cat Show' on Sunday September 4, the senior citizen is now a famous face.

Miss Carter was the victim of a hilarious prank in the 'How would you react' segment of the popular television comedy. The gag involved placing a large wad of fake money on the sidewalk, and featured actress Rishille Bellamy pretending to find what looks like a large sum of cash, and asking people passing by to help her decide what to do with it. A variety of reactions emerged and all were hilarious. One man produced a large crocus bag that was folded like a wallet in his back pocket and started packing up the cash, one man proceeded to share up the notes among all who were present, several men tried to run off with the 'money' and one lady vigorously encouraged Rishille to take home the money.

But Evelyn Carter took the cake. She has a National Water Commission bill amounting to more than $100,000 and had prayed for a miracle before leaving home that day. So when she saw this nice young woman appearing and showing her a handful of cash, Carter thought her prayers had been answered. She began to give thanks for this God-sent windfall while anxiously instructing the actress to 'shub it dung inna mi bag ... shub it right dung!!'
