Magnum Marina Sundays returns

Miss Kitty - File

Stone Love, Juju Royal to bring the vibes

Free entry for ladies

After taking a hiatus to accommodate parents and the back-to-school season, the Fluffy Diva Miss Kitty brings back the Magnum Marina Sundays to Danny's Marina in Harbour View, starting this season with Stone Love.

After making the cover of Buzz Magazine for its September-October issue, the Fluffy Diva is at it again. "Everybody remember the formula, we have a resident DJ and a guest DJ. The Magnum Marina Sundays' resident DJ is still the big bad Juju Royal and we have the Immortal Stone Love kicking off the first Marina Sundays in this series," said Miss Kitty, whose real name is Khadine Hylton.

Founded in 1972, Stone Love is heralded as one of the biggest sound systems in dancehall. For the past 39 years it has been the sound system with the most potent and magnetic force to pull crowds and full any venue.

The name Stone Love has become an international household name and was founded by Winston 'Wee Pow' Powell, one of the most respected men in the entertainment industry today. "We will be having all sorts of giveaways from our sponsors and will be having some crazy Magnum bucket deals. Already, Magnum Marina Sundays is an event that's filled with a great vibe, so when you add good deals and a whole lot of energy to some good music and great company, it's unbeatable," Miss Kitty also mentioned.

She also announced ladies are now free to enter. "Ladies enter for free and men are still $500. So it's time for the adults to come out and party. Back-to- school season done, so we as adults can enjoy a good vibe and a good time, the ladies party free, and you know wherever the ladies are a just niceness. Remember that Magnum Marina Sundays is wicked, cool Sunday-time vibe. The best of the 70s, 80s and 90s. Immortal music, celebrities and real cool people - that's what we offer by Danny's Marina on a Sunday evening," she exclaimed.

Magnum Marina Sundays, since its appearance on the entertainment calendar, has filled a void in east Kingston and continues to deliver on Miss Kitty's original promise of "entertainment at its best".
