Former champions St James High School made it three wins from three starts in Zone A of the 2011 ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel daCosta Cup yesterday afternoon when they secured a come-from-behind 5-1 win against Spot Valley in their game at Jarrett Park, in Montego Bay.

In the big clash in Zone H between leaders Edwin Allen and Clarendon, the teams battled to a 0-0 draw in a game characterised by numerous miss chances. The shared points lifted Edwin Alen to 13 points while Clarendon College moved up to 10.

The competition will continue this afternoon with a total of nine games spanning zones F.G and J. Among the top contenders who will be show are the likes of former champions St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS), Knox College and Tacius Golding.

STETHS, the runaway leader in Zone F with maximum 12 points, will be gunning to extend their unbeaten streak when they entertain struggling Lacovia High in Santa Cruz. STETHS' top striker Kevon Farquharson, who has accounted for 11 of the teams 27 unanswered goals, should be looking to increase his tally in a significant way.
