The search for the Jamaican nurse who went missing on July 30 in the Cayman Islands continues. THE STAR understands that evidence recovered last week during the search for the missing nurse has not been of any assistance to the Royal Cayman Islands police. According to a report from CayCompass.com, the police initially said a substance resembling blood was found on some rocks near the seaside in the Pedro area, some distance from where Kerran Baker's car was found on August 1. However, analysis done on the stains collected proved that it is not blood. Baker disappeared sometime after 7 p.m, on Saturday, July 30 and has not been heard from since. The police have little clue as to what happened to the missing woman after she was spotted by a CCTV camera leaving the Fosters airport grocery store. Reports of sightings later in the evening have so far proven inconclusive. |
