|||||
|
A woman in her seventh month of pregnancy who was allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend, who is a police officer, is counting her blessings as her unborn child suffered no complications. "Him kick me inna me belly and him lick up me head inna the grille," the woman alleged during a conversation with THE STAR yesterday. Furthermore, she said, "A excitement him create, everybody did a look, him draw me go out a road and lick me up." Information reaching THE STAR indicates that the incident took place between 3 and 4 p.m. yesterday in the Constant Spring area, outside the home of the policeman, while some neighbours looked on in bewilderment, while others found it amusing. The woman explained that prior to the incident, she had visited the police station that the man was attached to. She reasoned that she had gone there in an attempt to receive money from him for her to fill a prescription. She said that she encountered him at a bus stop close to the station but he was not delighted to see her. She explained that he was in the company of colleagues at the time of their encounter.
She later asked him for the money to purchase her medication again because she needed them urgently, but the cop considered her presence an annoyance and told her to go home.
Both of them, she said, left the station and went to the home of the cop where the officer unleashed his anger. "Him buss me mouth three time and kick me ina mi belly," she further added.
She later admitted that she had to break a piece of glass to defend herself, but by that time the man had retreated into the house.
THE STAR understands that the woman was later assisted to a doctor's office for treatment by a police patrol unit which had responded from the same police station where her boyfriend is assigned.
The woman also told THE STAR that the cop is a repeat offender as, "In October of last year, him did buss me mouth over jealousy." |
