Spice's day as a 'Starie'

Dancehall artiste Spice learnt how to street hustle on Monday when she took to Half-Way Tree Transport Centre to sell the people paper, THE STAR.

The artiste, who was greeted by her fans while she sold her stock, says the work wasn't easy.

"STAR, STAR, STAR; buy one and yu get Spice autograph," was the popular sound being echoed by the vendors surrounding Spice, while the artiste handed out each copy and pocketed the money.

Clad in jeans and her STAR apron, Spice signed autographs and took pictures with her fans as she worked.

Spice later told THE STAR that she enjoyed the experience but it's hard work. "It was good but the work hard, mi haffi big up the vendor dem, Gracy-ann mi memba yu name," she laughed.

She also says that she respects the women who do jobs of that nature on a day-to-day basis because the sun is hot and it's not easy to stand in the sun for an extended period.
