Curfew imposed for Rockfort

A curfew has been imposed in the eastern Kingston community of Rockfort and will remain in effect until today.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows: North along Pleasant View Road from the intersection with Mall Road to the dirt road leading into Shanty Town.

East along an imaginary line from the dirt road leading into Shanty Town to the blue tank at the top of Wareika Road.

South along Harbour Road from the eastern boundary to the intersection of Harbour Road and Mall Road Lane and west along Harbour Road from the intersection from the intersection of Mall Road Lane and Harbour Road to the intersection of Mall Road and Pleasant View Road.

During the hours of the curfew, all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the member of the security force who is in charge of enforcing the curfew.
