STAR Sports pundit Raymond 'KC' Graham came out victorious in the 'War of Words' Star Sports Daegu picks over André 'Dre' Lowe as the curtain came down on the 13th IAAF World Championships in South Korea on Sunday.

Both pundits were allowed to predict the top three in the correct order in 13 events, seven females and six males with five points for first, two for second, and one for third. The selections were published in the Weekend Star of Friday, August 26, the opening day (Jamaica time) of competition of the World Championships. In the end, it was Graham who got the better of Lowe easily as he scored 58 points to Lowe's 37.

Graham was near perfect in the women's events as he picked six of seven winners. Those he selected to win were Carmelita Jeter in the 100 metres, Veronica Campbell-Brown in the 200 metres, Sally Pearson in the 100 metres hurdles, LaShinda Demus in the 400 metres hurdles, along with the winners in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. Graham failed to spot the winner of the 400 metres as he had Sanya Richards-Ross to defeat Allyson Felix and eventual winner Amantle Montsho. Graham outscored Lowe 41-20 among the females.

Lowe had three successes among the women as he selected Veronica Campbell-Brown (200m), Sally Pearson (100m hurdles), and the 4x400 metres (USA). Both men were bang on target as they selected the top three in the correct order. Graham had five perfect top-two selections in the women's 100 metres, 100 metres hurdles, 4x100m and 4x400 metres and men's 200 metres, while Lowe had two - the men's 200 metres and women's 4x400 metres.

It was a little tougher for both pundits in the men's events as both garnered 17 points with their only wins coming in the men's 200 metres where Usain Bolt was successful, and the 4x100 and 4x400 metres relays.

It was sweet revenge for Graham who lost by one point to Lowe in their competition for the Supreme Ventures National Championships, which was held at the National Stadium in late June.
