The police are now invest-igating the death of an elderly woman who was reported missing earlier this week.

Dead is Zaytha Sappelton, 79, from Water Lane, Clarendon.

Information reaching THE STAR is that the body was found along the railway track near the Salt River on Thursday.

According to reports, about 4 a.m., the body was discovered along the railway track and the police were called.

Further reports are that the head was bashed in and the body appeared to have broken bones.

Sappelton was reported missing by her daughter on Wednesday.
