Women rob cabbie at gunpoint |

Rasbert Turner, Star Writer The St Catherine South police are searching for two gunwomen who robbed a taxi operator of his motor car on Monday. The Weekend Star learnt that the two nicely dressed women posed as genuine passengers before pulling guns on the cabbie and robbing his 1996 Toyota Corolla. The incident, The Weekend Star learnt, took place after the cabbie dropped off a passenger near Cedar Manor near Cumberland. The police said as he was leaving the area, he was stopped by two females dressed in tight fitted jeans pants. The women entered the vehicle and he started to drive. handgun Upon reaching a section of the Gregory Park main road, the police said one of the women reportedly brandished a handgun. The police said the driver was pushed from the vehicle and one of the women took over the steering and drove the car away. Investigators said they are probing the matter and are searching for the two gunwomen. |
