The police have released the identity of one of the suspects in last month's double beheading in Lauriston, St Catherine.

He is Ramone 'Plank' Johnson, who was shot dead on Tuesday.

Johnson's body was found in a car near the Caymanas Crossing in the parish on Tuesday afternoon.

He was being sought for the beheading of 40-year-old Charmaine Couver-Rattray, and her 19-year-old daughter Joeith Lynch.

They were reportedly killed by a group of armed men at their home on July 21.

Meanwhile, four other suspects who were arrested in connection with the gruesome attack are expected to be charged this week.
