Good response for KipRich's 'Talk'

Kiprich - File

DJ Kiprich was simply brilliant over the Independence holiday weekend as his hard-hitting Talk song ensured that he earned numerous 'forwards' wherever he performed.

He performed in Montego Bay at the Western Gala, then did an Independence Day street dance in Hanover before rounding off his rural run with a scintillating stint at Hype 2K11 in St Elizabeth. He performed right before Beenie Man, but worked after such big name acts such as Sizzla, I-Octane, Khago and I-Wayne.

"When mi shell dung Hype 2k, dem never waan me leave. The girl dem circle the car, mi gi weh mi jacket and mi chain, one girl get the jacket. One girl get the chain, but anno the platinum chain, ah the rose gold one," he joked in a release.

He said the response to the controversial single Talk has been phenomenal.

"Everywhere mi go , mi earn encores, there's just something about that song, every parish have dem favourite part, sometimes the forward come ah the Beenie part or the Kartel part. It just mad," he said in the release.

Kiprich will be performing in Guyana on August 24. Look out for other singles such as Ova Mi Shoulder.
