Black Queen drops controversial song

Female dancehall artiste Black Queen is making strides, with her latest releases Hot A Road and Good Husband.

According to the artiste, the songs are getting heavy rotation on radio stations both locally and abroad.

The song Hot A Road is a controversial commentary in which she highlights thought-provoking characteristics about her fellow industry players.

She mentioned the familiar topic of Vybz Kartel's bleaching. "Mi come back from tour to find Vybz Kartel wid a brand new face, with the weave to match the brace," she sang.

She also toyed with Corey Todd, and former Portmore Empire members Jah Vinci and Notnice saying,"When mi look mi si sey the building shut, Corey Todd a complain it just naw wuck, hear sey Notnice house get bruck and Jah Vinci brave up and cut."

The artiste recently returned from an international tour and has her eyes set on being the next big female act in the island.

Black Queen expressed that her career looks very promising and that everything is going in the right direction.

The singjay recently did a medley video for the singles Hot A Road and Good Husband, shot by video director Nordia Rose. The video is set to be released in a few days.

The artiste is currently working on new projects. She also acts in the capacity of promoter for her weekly event called Party Sundays. According to Black Queen, the event is one of the hottest parties in Ocho Rios.
