Dancehall diva Spice will be celebrating her birthday with some of the industry's biggest local and international stars.

Her birthday party, which will be staged tomorrow at the Waves Beach, Portmore, will feature international recording star Mya, Beenie Man, Lady Saw and Bounty Killer. Mya, who was recently on the island to perform alongside Spice at this year's Reggae Sumfest's Dancehall Night, will return to the island this weekend for Saturday's festivities.

The 'Jim Screechie queen' who has been diligently accumulating international collaborations, with the most recent being her track with Missy Elliott, titledFun, says, "Mya and I have a track calledTake Him Outand that's where it really started. She's such a wonderful person to work with. She came out for Reggae Sumfest and we premiered the track there and it went well and she will be back in the island for my birthday party this weekend. Apart from that, we will also be shooting the video for the track on Monday. So it's a busy week overall, but I expect it to be lots of fun."

The birthday celebration kicks off at 2 p.m. and ends at midnight. "I just want everyone to come on out and have fun, fun, fun. There's a major surprise guest artiste that will be there, but I can't give that away. So everyone just has to come on out to see."
