PASTOR ARRESTED WHILE PREACHING

A pastor was on Tuesday arrested by the Manchester police while he was preaching at a church on Ward Avenue in Mandeville.

The police say that Roydel Rowe, otherwise called 'Prophet', was charged for illegal possession of firearm and robbery with aggravation in 2008, and was convicted on both offences.

However, according to reports, he appealed both cases and was granted bail.

Since then, the police say the pastor has not returned to court.

It is reported that the Court of Appeal made an order that he be arrested and taken to prison to serve his sentences.
