Finalists in the Magnum King and Queen of The Dancehall represented the Digicel stage well during intermissions at Reggae Sumfest on Dancehall Night.

The Digicel stage gave upcoming acts a chance to get a feel of the Sumfest crowd and what they respond to.

Specialist, who is currently riding high on his hit single, Street Hustle, produced by Skatta Burrell, scored huge applause from the crowd during one of those intermissions.

"I feel good about the performance. It is my first time at Sumfest performing so I will take it as a great plus. I hope to make it on the main stage sometime in the future," Burrell said after his stint.

Magnum King Hurricane gave a category five performance as he also showed he was ready for the main stage and showed his willingness to put in the groundwork to perfect his performance on stage. Nioma and Yabalicious sizzled and made an effort to connect with the Sumfest crowd, which was still getting used to the rising stars who want to claim a piece of the pie in the music industry.

The addition of a small stage to entertain patrons during band changes on the main stage was done last year by Guinness and was continued this year by Digicel. Last year Tanto Blacks gave an energetic performance on this stage alongside several other dancehall acts.

Meanwhile, the Red Stripe Bold Sky Bridge literally heightened the entertainment experience patrons are accustomed to. This was the first time patrons in Jamaica were experiencing such a unique vantage point during a major event.

The sky bridge was 17 feet above ground and directly in front of the stage.
