The Under-14s continued their impressive showing at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior Tournament as top seed Andrew Bicknell obliged in the 14 and under boys' singles final, getting the better of fellow countryman James Cruze 6-1, 6-3 on yesterday's fifth and penultimate day at the Eric Bell Tennis Centre.

There was a minor upset in the girls' 18 and under singles final; as Jamaica's unseeded Shaeda Nickle outclassed compatriot Ilana Blackwood, who was seeded at number two, 6-1, 6-1 to take the title.

In the 18 and under girls' semi-final, top seed Blair Shankle of the United States of America (USA) stopped fifth seed Jasmin Jebawy of Germany 7-6 (4), 6-1. Shankle's opponent in the final, which is slated to get on the way 9:30 a.m. today at the same venue will be Johnnise Renaud of the USA. Renaud got the better of Mexico's Valeria Salazar, 6-2, 6-3.

Number one seed Richard Del Nunzio out of the USA cruised into the boys' 18 and under final with an easy, 6-2, 6-0 victory over Germany's Yannik James. Nunzio will face his compatriot Austin Siegal who is ranked fourth in the 9:30 a.m. final. Siegal got by seventh seed Daniel Shebshayevich, also of the USA, 6-2, 6-3 in their semi-final encounter.

The two top seeded teams will square off on today's final day in the 18 and under boys' singles final. The top seeded duo of Walner Espinoza of Panama and Siegel will tackle the second seeded pair of Tunisia's Aws Laaribi and Tristan Meraut of France.

Espinoza and Siegel booked their place in the final after triumphing 7-6 (5), 6-2 over the team of William Albanese of the USA and Costa Rica's Daniel Gutierrez. Laaribi and Meraut progressed following their 7-6 (3), 6-4 victory over the Argentinean duo of Kevin Mario Gandini and Marcos Paschetta.

The 18 and under girls' doubles final will also be a match-up between the top seeded duos, as top ranked Renaud and Shankle will face second seed Simone Pratt of Bahamas and Mexico's Valeria Salazar.

Pratt and Salaza had an easy day on the court as they got by Diana Grace Aboubakare of the USA and her partner Naomi Tran of Australia, 6-1, 4-3 (retired hurt).

Renaud and Shankle stopped the Mexican pair of Regina Clark and Miranda Rodriguez, 6-2, 6-3 to progress.
