In response to the complainant's claim, Denzil told the court that his son only earns a small salary from his job, however, the court insisted that full payment be made by the next mention date. The court had heard that on January 21 at 6:30 p.m., Denzil and Theodore had a dispute with the complainant which escalated into a fight. The complainant was reportedly beaten all over her body causing bruises and swelling to her face and head.
