While newer, better and bigger things were promised for this year's Digicel Rising Stars competition, there is one ingredient that is dearly missed by viewers.

Fans of the show have been calling for the return of the witty and comical past judge Anthony Miller, who was often referred to as 'Killer Miller'. A Facebook page has been created called 'Anthony Miller for Rising Stars Judge' with people stating how much they want him on the show.

"Naa lie still Anthony, we all know you were harsh but trust me you really told the truth up there. These judges are too caught up on people liking them so they are tryin' not to hurt anyone's feelings but oooh my man, jeeez jus tell a likkle truth nuh man. How are they goin to capitalise on their mistake if they don't hear it comin from someone who they think knows better?," questioned a Facebook user.

She was not alone with this view, as another said, "Anthony Miller we the viewers of Rising Stars miss you dearly, I can't see why you are no longer a judge. This change is not for the better and we are truly cut up."

might stop watching

Others proposed protests for his return and some said they might stop watching the show. Meanwhile, a male viewer said, "... darn, we want 'spiciness' man!!! 'The Anthony Miller spirit' was most definitely a big plus in the mix!"

When THE WEEKEND STAR contacted Miller, he had very little to say.

"I have no comment on anything about Facebook and a return to Rising Stars," he said.

While he remains silent on the issue and a missing link on the show, Twitter fans have made his presence felt with a '#thingsAnthonywouldsay' hashtag while the show airs on TVJ.

"#ThingsAnthonyWouldSay #Jah Flamez there was no fire, no flame, no smoke that was just flat," one person said.

Another said, "#ThingsAnthony WouldSay that performance was as tragic as your get up. "#ThingsAnthonyWouldSay Lady Gaga isn't hip hop. Part of this music business is 'bout knowin' ur genre & u failed miserably. Good performance though," another viewer added.
