Last Saturday Guinness URGE held at Waves Beach in St Catherine might have been lacking in the right song selections. However, it was certainly not short of female patrons who turned out in their numbers rocking some hot bikini outfits.

The WEEKEND STAR arrived on the sands of Waves Beach after 1 a.m., during the juggling of Dj Flabba Dabba, who attempted to bring a party vibe to the venue playing R&B selections from the likes of Trey songs and others.

However, the Dj had problems sticking to a formula as he switched to dancehall, playing Popcaan's Gangster City just as the ladies were feeling the R&B vibe.

He then switched back to hip hop, then jumping to soca.

The music hungry ladies did get down in the sand, however, the DJ made another abrupt switch in selection playing Jay Z's Forever Young.

After a brief band change, Dj Kappa Ash and Voice took over the turntables. However, they too failed to bring the vibe to a climax.

At 2 a.m., the females still yearned for a climax to make them wet with sweat, and the DJs went for Seanizzle's One Day hit rhythm.

They enjoyed this as they jumped around to Zj Liquid's Wifey Walk Out. The Dj further encouraged the ladies to participate when he shouted, "Some gal caan walk out because dem wi get a lick inna dem face."

Ladies could be seen attempting the handstand dance even in the sand. One patron was left flat on her back after she attempted to balance on her head and lost the challenge to gravity. However, after being helped up by her friends, she was back in full action as she bubbled to Left Side's Want Yuh Body.

Solar Sound was next and they went reggae playing Protoje and Ky-mani Marley's Rasta Love. This song had the entire venue singing along.

Renaissance brought the curtains down on the event even though their set was marred by technical difficulties. They still managed to keep the audience dancing while smoke came from a section of the sound equipment.

Some patrons left complaining that the song selections were poor while others were content.
