Dermason Plaza, located in the Independence City comm-unity, celebrated 20 years as a business entity in Portmore with an entertainment package and grand 'open house', on the premises last Saturday.

Sybil Maitland, proprietor of the business, thanked the customers, friends and well-wishers for sharing in the special occasion.

It was also a special moment for Portmore Flowers and Bridal as they have been located on the plaza, also for 20 years. Other businesses on the plaza also showcased their services.

Meanwhile, as part of the celebrations, Rhea Medical Centre, located on the premises, gave free blood-pressure checks and vision screening. Victoria Mutual Building Society and Flow Cable also shared in the occasion and there were gift packages courtesy of Hi-Lo Portmore Pines branch. A bridal fashion show closed the day's proceedings. The dresses were courtesy of Portmore Flowers and Bridal.
