Dermason Plaza located in the Independence City community has been doing business in Portmore for the past 20 years and to mark this feat, the operators will be having a grand 'Open House' on the premises this morning starting at 9.

"We will have an open house to show members of the public our ball- room and balcony, which are ideal for weddings. It will also be a special moment for Portmore Flowers and Bridal as they have been located on the plaza also for 20 years. Other businesses on the plaza will also showcase their services.

Livermore added: "We are asking members of the public to come celebrate with us. Rhema Medical Centre, which is also on the plaza, will have free eye screening between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., there will be giveaways of baskets by GraceKennedy, while Flow, COK and VMBS will showcase their services".

Meanwhile, a bridal fashion show will end the proceedings.
