Entertainer fined for ganja cigar |

|
Entertainer Eric Donaldson was said to have been a "good Samaritan" when he was held with a ganja cigar. Defence attorney Donald Bryan told the court his client was only assisting a physically challenged man when he was held. Donaldson was subsequently fined $100 or 10 days in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. The court was told that last Tuesday the entertainer was near the court when he was accosted and a ganja cigar taken from him. Donaldson is one of Jamaica's most decorated Jamaica Cultural Development Commission Popular Song competition winners with Cherry Oh Baby being his biggest hit. |
