Psychologist Dr Rudi Webster will work with the embattled West Indies team as they prepare for the second Test against India starting tomorrow.

A Barbadian, Webster has worked with the West Indies team before and has also served in the past as a consultant to the India cricket team.

The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) said yesterday that Webster had accepted their invitation to work with the current unit in the build-up to the Oval contest. He was part of the team's training session yesterday.

Only earlier this month, Webster was the featured speaker at the West Indies Players' Association Awards where he called on the WICB to involve the players in its Five Year Strategic Plan.

West Indies enter the second Test 1-0 down after losing the opening encounter by 63 runs at Sabina Park in Jamaica last Thursday.
