Curfews imposed in St Catherine |

Curfews have Been imposed in several sections of St Catherine, THE STAR has learnt. The curfews, which began at 7 p.m. yesterday, will remain in effect until 6 p.m. on Tuesday. THE STAR understands that the areas in the St Catherine North Division under curfew are, Gravel Heights, March Pen, Corletts Road, Rivoli, Damhead/Crescent district, Quarry Hill, Manchester Lane, Tradegar Park, 31 St Johns Road, De la vega City, Dallas Lane and Jones Avenue. In the St Catherine South Division, the areas affected are, Rat Town in Waterford, Big Lane in Central Village, Zambia and Brown's Lane In the meantime, the public is being advised that during the hours of the curfews all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by a member of the security forces who is in charge of enforcing the curfews. |
