Star Tell Me Pastor

Steps to success
Dear Pastor,

I must commend you on the spectacular work you have been doing all these years. I am an 18-year-old young woman who is unsure about the necessary steps I must take to achieve my goals. I have no qualifications and I want to become a doctor.

I am literate and quite intellectual for that matter. I don't have the necessary funds to pursue my goals and I am unsure at times about whether or not I can do it.

Please give me your fatherly advice on how to achieve my goals. It will be greatly appreciated.

C.A., St. Ann

Dear C.A.,

Am I to understand that you do not have any CXCs? If you want to be a doctor, you should have high passes in CXC and A' levels in the sciences, including English and mathematics.

You can receive a student loan if you have the required qualifications to get into medical school. If you do not have the necessary qualifications, you should go back to school and study hard and sit the examinations. I wish you well.

Pastor
