with Ragashanti Tambareen Fambily an Mix Up an Blenda massive bless up unu mix-up self. An propa respek to all linky-linky weh listen Tambareen Radio online ova mixupyaad.com. Awright, time fi full up unu yeye wid some mix-up: Should She Leave? Raga mi ave a son wid mi husband of four yrs but mi nuh really ave nuh feelings fi mi husband any more. He is living in my house. What should I do?? Yuh say yuh 'nuh really' ave any more feelings fi yuh husband. Dat nuh really sound 100 per cent ina any direction. All mi can say ya now is to remember weh one a di Tyler Perry character did say inna a one a him movie when him a encourage him fren fi stay wid him wife: 'sometimes I am not in love with my wife.' Probably, you need fi understand that it is quite natural for many people to go through phases where dem don't feel 'in love' with their wives and husbands, sometimes for long periods and sometimes for short periods. During these periods at some point the couple must find some ways to first acknowledge the problem, then find some way to address it, preferably together. This can involve you both doing different things to spice up your relationship, which doesn't necessarily have to do with sex. Unu can spen more time togeda, do simple things like wash your partner's hair, make him or her a special bath, take time to continuously remind the other person of their wonderful and special qualities, and just deliberately doing nice things to change the flow of the relationship. And you both should stop forgetting or lazily taking for granted the good qualities of the person you're with. On the other hand, jus keepin it real, if unu ting reach a point where there is absolutely no chance of your relationship getting better in any way, then it might be time for you both to see how you go about separating. But try to find out if your relationship can still work before yuh tink bout separating. All di bes. Bless up. Swiping Lies Good day Raga. All this excitement about oral sex, what you call 'swiping', is nothing new. Swiping has been going on a long time now in Jamaica, we just never ever spoke about it. My girlfriends (older women) and I exchanged surprises in our later years when we all realised how long we were all swiping with our husbands. It's been going on a long time now in Jamaica. First, thank you for giving me permission to write what you told me in person. Next, you're not the first older person to tell me this. I've heard same from many others, including the highly educated and the impressively accomplished. The Internet, cable TV, the dramatic increase in global travel, and less fear of societal backlash have all conspired to reveal much of what was once hidden, including the practice of swiping in Jamaica. This has also lead to many experiencing a great amount of discomfort with the revelations, which in turn has lead to significant denial and hypocrisy. A whole heap a Jamaicans a duh di tingz dem long time! Some a dem enjoy it wen dem a get it, but suh damn shame bout it wen dem done, dat all dem can duh fi mek dem self feel betta is fi bun it out every day. I am not here condoning or opposing swiping, I'm just objectively reinforcing the observation that it's been in Jamaica and it's easily one of the primary subjects on which Jamaicans lie the most. Wooooooiiiiiiieeeee!! - mout a tell lie pon mout! Reach Ragashanti at mixupraga@gmail.com or PO Box 5866, Liguanea Po, Kingston 6.
