Fun, music, vibes at Extatic Fridays

Extatic Fridays had a flashback last week as the event kicked off at Devon House in St Andrew.

Patrons came out in abundance to enjoy the night as they danced to the hits spun by the disc jockeys.

Coppershot delighted patrons during their set with songs like Shake Yuh Bam Bam, Badman A Badman, New Millennium and Sen On.

Hip-hop songs like New York, When I Move You Move, Yeah X3 and Flap Your Wings also found favour as patrons rocked to the beat.

DJ Ali Patch also played a good set for patrons which included a mix of old and new songs.

As patrons frequented the bars and partied the night away, as soon Coppershot's Sanjay asked, "Don't di bus can swim?" there were outbursts of laughter throughout the venue. When he played the audio version of the video remix which shot to popularity recently, it was more of the same mixed with gun fingers pointing in the air and shouts of approval.

Two females in particular seemed to be enjoying the moment as they did their own 'the bus can swim dance' moving around in a manner similar to fishes.

"Pull up! If yuh neva watch news yu wudden know da one ya!" shouted Sanjay.

The females got the last of the party favours, however, as they danced the night away to songs like Know Bout Me, Bend Over and Slim vs Fluffy as the event neared its end in the wee hours of Saturday morning.
