Curfews still in effect |

|
The curfews that have been imposed in sections of the St Catherine North and South divisions remain in effect until 6 p.m. today. Head of the St Catherine North police, Senior Superintendent Anthony Castelle, said several persons of interest have been detained. The affected communities are: Gravel Heights, March Pen, Corletts Road, Rivoli, Damhead/Crescent district, Quarry Hill, Manchester Lane, Tredegar Park, Johns Road, De la Vega City, Railway Premises/ Dallas Lane, Jones Avenue, Rat Town, Waterford, Big Lane, Central Village, and Zambia/Brown's Lane. In the meantime, during the hours of the curfews all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by ground commander. |
