I am 21 and dating a man who is 26 this month. I love him very much, but I need your advice. We have been dating for nearly a year and we plan to get married soon after I graduate from the UWI.

We have sex a few times, but I don't like what he wants me to do. He wants us to engage in anal sex. He thinks that I am old-fashioned, but I don't believe that it is right to engage in that form of lovemaking.

Please for your advice.

You know what this man expects from you. It is either you are going to comply or not comply. I cannot encourage anyone to engage in anal sex; so, I can only urge you to stand firm on your position. If this man loves you, he should respect your position and not force you to do anything that you do not want to do.

If this man loves anal sex and he believes that it is something that should be practised, he may try to buy time and hope that he will be able to convince you that there is nothing abnormal about having anal sex. So I must warn you, he is going to come at you again, and again. You will have to decide whether it makes sense to continue in the relationship.
