Dear Pastor,

I am a 58-year-old man and I am addicted to sex. I have three women in my life and each of them knows about the other. Sometimes all of us sleep together. I don't hide anything from them. They are all good friends and are not jealous of each other. We live as one. Only one is living with me, but the other two come and go as they please. They are all working women. I don't have children, I have a nice home and I have a good job.

I used to have a woman who is in her 40s but she was too jealous and couldn't take my womanising. So I gave her some money and she left. We are still good friends but we don't go to bed. Two of my present girlfriends are in their 20s and one turned 30 recently.

I know these girls love me. I can't say if I didn't have something they would have stayed with me. I intend to see that every one of them get something out of having a relationship with me. They know they cannot keep other men with me. If they do, I will take away everything I have given them. Some men would love to live like me.

Beautiful women are my biggest weakness. I can see why King Solomon loved them so much.

C.C.,

Dear C.C.,

If you had a good understanding of the Scripture, and you understood what Solomon did, you wouldn't want to use him as an example to justify the life you are living. The Bible says that the wiseman, Solomon, had many wives and concubines but he went against the admonition of the lord. He was warned not to become involved with certain woman.

King Solomon

The Bible says, "King Solomon loved many foreign women: the daughter of Pharaoh, and Moabite, Ammonite, E'domite, Sido'nian, and Hittite women, from the nations concerning which the Lord had said to the people of Israel, "You shall not enter into marriage with them, neither shall they with you, for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods"; Solomon clung to these in love. He had 700 wives, princesses, and 300 concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. For when Solomon was old, his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not wholly true to the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father."

These women caused Solomon to lose his good testimony. They literally wrecked his spiritual life.

You take pleasure in having three women but, just as Solomon found out that women and material things do not bring everlasting joy and happiness, these women may wreck your life. Don't fool yourself, they are making you weaker and weaker every day. Although they are not fighting each other now, their aim is to get as much out of you and leave you broke.

You will be better off finding a woman who loves and cares for you, instead of wasting your substance on three women. If you are addicted to sex, you need to see a clinical psychologist or a sex therapist.
