Top four set for semi-final showdown

Harbour View, Arnett Gardens, Boys' Town and Rae Town advanced to the semi-finals of the Claro Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Champions League U-20 competition.

Harbour View dispatched Santos 5-0; Arnett Gardens thrashed Olympic Gardens 6-0; Boys' Town whipped Duhaney Park 3-1 and Rae Town beat Tivoli Gardens 2-1.

The semi-final matchups will see Harbour View tackling Boys' Town and Arnett Gardens playing Rae Town.

On Thursday, Harbour View travel to Collie Smith Drive to play Boys' Town at 4:30 p.m. while Arnett Gardens host Rae Town at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.

Harbour View are favoured to get the better of Boys' Town while Arnett Gardens should do likewise against Rae Town.

Harbour View, which won the Confederation League, will be depending on Oneil Fisher, who has a national senior cap, Akekil Barnett, Christopher Harrison, the dangerous Jemmoy Lynch and Lamar Nelson for victory.

Boys' Town, which finished fourth in the Confederation League, can expect Jamiel Hardware, Marvin Morgan Jr, Hugh Evans, Keine Smith and Odean Hamilton to give Harbour View a warm time.

The rejuvenated Arnett Gardens are overwhelming favourites to see off Rae Town and in Javoni Simms, Fabian Reid, Romario Bigsby and Dorado Phipps could prove match winners for Arnett Gardens.

However, Rae Town cannot be ruled out as the Kingston division winner could upset the apple cart like they did against Tivoli Gardens.

The likes of Genford Brown, Kareen Manning and Donald Hamilton is enough ammunition to destroy Arnett Gardens.

All in all it should be two exciting semi-finals in which any number can play but the odds favour Harbour View and Arnett Gardens to win and set a mouth-watering finals set for June 19.
