Police probe murder-suicide |

|
The police in Montego Bay are investigating a suspected case of murder-suicide that took place in the parish on Sunday. Information reaching THE STAR is that the community of Sammy Bush in Norwood, Montego Bay, was plunged into mourning after Glenton Copeland, 40, a baker allegedly killed his common-law-wife then committed suicide. Reports from the Montego Bay police are that about 6 a.m., a relative visited the home where Copeland was found hanging from the ceiling by a piece of electrical cord. The police were summoned and on their arrival they found the body of 23-year-old Masonna McCallum with her throat slashed. |
