Kevroy Johnson, otherwise called 'One Don', was fatally shot on Friday night by an off-duty police officer on Brunswick Avenue in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

Police said Johnson, who was a known member of the Clansman gang, which is based in Spanish Town, was wanted for a number of crimes in the St Catherine North Division, including murder.

A .38 revolver and five rounds of ammunition were reportedly seized following his killing, the police said.

The police said the Bureau of Special Investigations is investigating the fatal shooting, while the matter has also been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations.
