STAR of the Month deejay Assassin aka Agent Sasco scored his first number one single of 2011 with his monster hit, Talk How Mi Feel which hit the pole position on the Jamaica Music Countdown charts last week. "I feel really great because earlier this year, my management team and I made a determined effort to put out quality, well-produced singles for the local market and we have been getting a lot of positive feedback, so it feels good to notch the first number one for the year and we have to thank the fans for their unwavering support as we continue to put in the work. Look out for more hits from Agent Sasco," he said in a release. In the meantime, other Assassin singles like Run the Place, released on his own Boardhouse Records label, peaked at #4 on the Fiwi Choice Top Ten charts and also soared to #4 on the ER dancehall charts. The STAR of the Month has also been in high demand for shows overseas, hitting the stage at the recently concluded Best of the Best concert in Miami where he gave a commanding performance and was easily one of the top three acts on show at that event. He performed in the islands of Antigua and St Vincent over the weekend, and he is already booked for a June 18th show in Trinidad. The deejay performed on a club show in England in April, and he returns to Europe for stints on two major reggae festivals in August. album to be released Agent Sasco is working on an album to be released on his own Boardhouse Records label later this year. He is no longer signed to VP Records after completing his end of the bargain. He released two albums, Gully Sitten and his debut 2005 efffort Infiltration withVP. "I have been working on just doing singles for the first part of the year but I have a number of exclusive singles for my album which we're looking to release later this year ideally but we will see how that goes," he said. Assassin is managed by his brother, Gareth Campbell. He appeared as a celebrity guest judge in last Saturday's Magnum Kings and Queens competition.
