Man in custody for death of security guard

One man has been taken into custody for the stabbing death of a 26-year-old security guard of a Constant Spring Road, Kingston 19, address, yesterday afternoon.

The accused man's identity is being withheld pending further investigations.

According to police reports about 1:35 p.m., Michael 'Mickey' Morris was at home with a man when an argument developed between them. It is reported that the argument escalated into a fight, and Morris was stabbed several times over his body.

He was taken to the Andrews Memorial Hospital where he died.

In the meantime, the accused man was later taken into custody after he was apprehended in the Half-Way Tree, Kingston 10, area.

Investigations continue.
