BIG CLASH OUTSIDE CLUB - Businessman, footballer's crew reportedly involved

An altercation between a businessman and the entourage of a popular footballer on Saturday morning resulted in many partygoers leaving a night spot in New Kingston as the dispute was taken outside into the parking lot.

"It was really a public scene, everybody see it, everybody left the club and went to look," one eyewitness told THE STAR.

Information reaching THE STAR is that about 4 a.m., patrons inside the nightclub were alerted to a dispute that saw the entourage of both the businessman and the footballer moving swiftly outside the club.

Reports from the New Kingston Police Post are that an altercation ensued between an 18-year-old woman and a member of the footballer's entourage.

Allegations are that the woman who was in the company of the businessman was pushed in the head by the accused. This allegedly led to the businessman getting involved.

Further allegations are that a bottle of liquor was later taken from the woman allegedly by the footballer. This allegedly escalated the dispute.

"Even a girl was speculating that they were fighting over liquor but dat nuh possible cause dem man deh filthy rich," the eyewitness further stated.

THE STAR understands that the dispute lasted about 25 minutes.

The matter was later reported to the New Kingston Police Post. When contacted, THE STAR was informed that since the report was lodged no one has been arrested.
