Crisopolis feeling the 'Love'

RPR Production recording artiste Crisopolis is pleased with the response to his ultra-popular reggae hit, 'Distant Love', which has received rave reviews so far.

"Things are looking up, I have been getting a lot of positive feedback so far. I believe a major reggae label is even interested in the song.

The song hit number three on the CVM Hitlist last weekend, and that helped to give it even more exposure," Crisopolis said in a release.

The video also peaked at number five on the HYPE TV VTX charts.

Crisopolis wants to take his underground popularity and turn it into a respectable voice in the dancehall community. His management team, RPR Production, owned by the super-talented producer, Richard 'Chicken' Dawkins is making aggressive moves in the marketplace. His company bankrolled the video for the single which is the lead off single for Crisopolis' debut album, Sirens From a Distance.

Crisopolis will be making an appearance on Wickie Wackie Live in June, and will also play an important role in this year's International Reggae Day festivities on July 1st.

"I have been getting a lot of feedback on Facebook from fans in Brazil, and I found that there is actually a town in that country that shares the same name as I. That's a big coincidence and reggae is really big in Brazil as well," he said in the release.

Crisopolis is a town and municipality in the state of Bahía in the northeast region of Brazil.

He has a number of other singles such as Sieve Out and Step Inna The Place Ah Fire which have been getting a good buzz locally.
