WIFE ATTACKS HUBBY'S WILLY

A man who told the court that he assaulted his wife because she grabbed on to his penis had his bail extended when the matter was mentioned in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Forty-six-year-old Norman Dunkley from Wild Street, Kingston 16, is to return to court on June 30. Senior RM Judith Pusey ordered a probation report as well as counselling for the couple.

Allegations are that on Wednesday May 11 about 3:34 a.m., the complainant was in bed with her husband when he touched her and asked for sexual favours. It is alleged that he became angry and started to behave in a boisterous manner after she refused his request. Further allegations are that he grabbed her by the neck and started to throw punches at her causing a swelling to her left eye.

The complainant who had visible bruises on her face told the court that she was only defending herself when she grabbed her husband's penis. "He was strangling me your Honour," she said.

Further, she told the court that they have been having difficulties based on the fact that her husband recently fathered an outside child.
