Windsor School of Special Education located in Belmont, Greater Portmore, was upgraded and refurbished on Labour Day.

Telecommunications company LIME was the main sponsor of the venture. Associate sponsors included Hi-Lo Food Stores, Transjamaica Highway, West Indies Home Contractors and Singer.

Mayor of Portmore Keith Hinds said: "This project is a continuation of last year, where we are building a classroom, painting the school building and a perimeter fence. The project cost over $1.5 million and it will be continued."

The upgrade and refurbishing was a joint venture between the Portmore Municipal Council and corporate entities from the municipality.
