The police in Cross Keys, Manchester, are now investigating the stabbing death of a 32-year-old man in the parish yesterday.

Dead is Fitzroy 'Bron' Lindsay of Plowden district.

Information reaching THE STAR is that a man, whose identity is being withheld pending further investigations, has been taken into police custody.

According to police reports, about 12 a.m., Lindsay went to visit the man and his ex-girlfriend when an argument developed between them. During the altercation, the man reportedly used a knife to stab Lindsay. He was taken to the Mandeville Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

THE STAR understands that the suspect was later held by residents and handed over to the police.

This is the second stabbing incident to have occurred in the parish in recent times.
