Al Miller gets bail extension
Head of the Fellowship Tabernacle Church, Reverend Al Miller, who is charged for losing his licensed firearm, had his bail extended until May 27 in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Miller was represented by his attorney, Leslie Campbell, who asked the court for more time to allow him to complete his research of information that may be vital to his client's defence.

Campbell later explained in a brief post-court interview with journalists that "we are exploring some options,".

Miller is charged with negligence and causing the loss or theft of his licensed firearm.

Miller had reportedly told the police that he had stopped his car along Shortwood Road in St Andrew and was picking plums when someone entered his vehicle and removed a pouch with his firearm.

Furthermore, he told the cops that he was with his daughter when the gun was stolen.
