A Jamaican national has been sentenced to 98 years' imprisonment in Costa Rica after being convicted on two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. He is Lionel Delphus Perkins, 37, from a Glendevon, Montego Bay, address. The sentence was handed down on Monday. Allegations are that Perkins was arrested last year in connection with the murder of a university student who was also the daughter of a Costa Rican Ambassador.
