Dancehall producer, manager and father of dancehall artiste, QQ, Joseph 'GQ' Dawkins who reportedly attacked another man with a broken glass bottle, appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday to answer to a charge of unlawful wounding.

Allegations are that sometime between 4:45 p.m., and 5 p.m., on May 1st of this year, the complainant and Dawkins had a disagreement which led both men to use abusive language to each other.

Dawkins is said to have broken a soda glass bottle and used it to inflict a wound to the upper middle section of the complainant's right hand, causing it to bleed.

After a police investigation, Dawkins was arrested and charged.

Dawkins, however, had his bail extended until June 15, when he is scheduled to return to court.
