Dancin' Dynamites host, Jenny Jenny - File

A good display of dancing from the remaining contestants in the Dancin' Dynamites competition took centrestage at The Karl Hendrickson Auditorium at Jamaica College on Saturday.

With the night having a 'move to di riddim' twist, in which contestants danced to the rhythms of popular dancehall producers, judges Kimberly 'Weezy' Hyman, Kerry-Ann Henry and Geefus of Stone Love Movement had the task of scoring the dancers' routines.

Diamond Squad, dancing to the music of Ward 21, were first up and presented a good routine, but their Dancin Dynamite road came to an end as they were eliminated.

Kleva K's danced well to the rhythms of Romeich Records, but at times lacked energy and this was relayed by Weezy who said she needed to see more energy and expression. Henry commended them for having a good concept and costume.

Flava Expressions entertained the crowd as usual with their energetic moves and got mixed reactions from the judges with Henry advising them to tighten their routine a bit. Weezy said she was disappointed but still liked their routine.

Garrison Youths told a story through their routine and were commended by the judges. However, the props used in the early stage of their routine was a distraction in the latter stages. Ed Haadie was welcomed to the stage with loud cheers, applause and the knocking of pot covers. Costumed as construction workers, they did a very good routine to the rhythms of Notice Productions while pulling props from an igloo.

Henry and Weezy loved the concept and both gave them 'winnings'.

Xcalade Dancers also did well in their high-energy performance and got the first ever 9.5 score from Geefus.

Kritical Squad presented a good routine with which Henry was pleased but it was the opposite for Weezy who told them to spread their dancing and to dance as if they want to win.

Black Eagles displayed energetic dance moves and made good use of the stage during their performance. They also got 'winnings' from Weezy and Kerry who gave them commendations on their performance.
