There were even more delays in the case against reputed gang leader Christopher 'Dog Paw' Linton as he was again remanded in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
He is to return to court on April 29, at which time his lawyers are expected to make an application for bail. Linton is facing three counts of murder, one count of wounding with intent and one count of arson. The court was told that two other men who are said to be members of the Dog Paw gang have been jointly charged with Linton. They are Donald Allen and Yanque Ellis. Linton was held during a police-military operation in Elletson Flats, St Andrew, on January 24 after eluding the cops for months. He's charged in connection with a gruesome attack in Bedward Gardens, St Andrew, in December. In that incident, a six-year-old boy, his 31-year-old mother and a 49-year-old taxi operator were killed. Linton is also before the Gun Court on two counts of shooting with intent and one count of illegal possession of a firearm. |
